The #2025EASEconference in Oslo is about to start. Are you attending in person? Then this EASE Nordic Chapter invitation is for you.
You are warmly welcome to join the EASE Nordic chapter for an informal chat to exchange ideas for topics of special interest to our community during the lunch break on Thursday 15 May. Meet at 13:15 at the reception desk in the foyer. See you there!
eVent! has no formalities and a simple agenda: unwind, share a few laughs, and vent with colleagues. eVent! is free of charge and open to NEaT members only. Once you have registered you will receive the zoom link.
More of everything you ever wanted to know about revising grant applications but were afraid to ask
Following a robust discussion in February about things to keep in mind when revising grant applications for clients, we’ve decided to continue the discussion with a second roundtable.
Join us for an informal online discussion which follows up on how best to meet your clients’ needs when they are working on and submitting requests for funding to donor agencies. We are going to address ethical concerns, including the use of AI from a funder’s perspective and handling multiple clients who are applying to the same funder.
Vanessa Fuller, a long-time instructor of transferable skills training to academics at the University of Helsinki and herself a consultant grant writer, will lead the discussion and offer insights from her experience.
This NEaT session is free of charge and open to NEaT members only. Once you have registered you will receive a zoom link for the roundtable closer to the time.
NEaT mentoring is up and running for the fourth year!
NEaT mentoring is our members-only scheme where we share experience and expertise. Our mentors give a few hours of their time to mentees to work on a particular issue. Our mentees will have a clear goal or skill they want to work on over three one-to-one sessions. It can be a core skill in a specific area of translation or editing, or specific business, marketing, IT or other expertise.
Regardless of how long you have been working, there are always new skills you might need to learn. Go to the member portal to read all about it.
