The annual AGM was held on 15 March 2024, after which we celebrated ten years of being NEaT.
The annual summer picnic was held on 17 August 2024 in Tokoinranta park in Helsinki.
The NEaT holiday party was held on 5 December 2024.
eVent! the first in our new series for members to let off steam about our professional lives, was held on 22 February 2024.
January and February also saw three online events, an online NEaTup on 9 January 2024 to celebrate the new year for those who missed the holiday party, an ELN seminar on LLMs on 23 January 2024.
The ELN seminar on the influence of the English language in the Nordics was held on 13 May 2024.
NEaT’s first conference, English as a Lingua Nordica Conference: Language in a Changing World, was held in Turku, 30–31 August 2024.
At the beginning of the autumn, members met up online on 6 September 2024 for an eVent.
On 28 September 2024 we had our first NEaT up in Stockholm!
The popular sensitivity editing workshop from the ELN conference was held in Helsinki on 21 November 2024.
