A subtitling seminar with Tiina Kinnunen was held on 7 May 2019 at the FinnBrit Society.
Business skills were honed at a panel discussion Business skills: What I wish I had known at the beginning on 21 October 2019 at FinnBrit.
A seminar discussion on practical considerations when editing scientific texts with statistics was held on 25 November at the University of Helsinki Language Centre.
Professional language revisor and NEaT board member Kenneth Quek taught a workshop that introduced noun stacking and offered strategies for dealing with it and creating clear sentence structures. The workshop was aimed specifically at translators who work with English as their target language. The course was open to members of Kieliasiantuntijat and NEaT. The course was organised by Nordic Editors and Translators NEaT and Kieliasiantuntijat ry/Language Experts.
