NEaT is a registered association providing education, professional development and networking for editors and translators working in the English language in the Nordic countries. This year we are campaigning to encourage people who are new to the profession.
NEaT early career membership is designed to support emerging language professionals by offering a path into the field. You’ll gain access to our comprehensive mentoring programme, valuable networking events such as ELN2025 on Friday 3 October 2025, and a range of professional development courses. While you won’t have voting rights or access to job-sharing resources just yet, you’ll still be able to connect with experienced editors and translators, learn new skills, and join the language community. All at a reduced membership fee.
After three years of working professionally or full-time study, you’ll be eligible to upgrade to full membership, unlocking additional benefits, including voting rights and full access to our job-sharing resources.
