The European Association of Science Editors (EASE) is an internationally oriented community of individuals from diverse backgrounds, linguistic traditions and professional experience who share an interest in science communication and editing.
EASE offers the opportunity to stay abreast of trends in the rapidly changing environment of scientific publishing, whether traditional or electronic.
Mediterranean Editors and Translators (MET)
Mediterranean Editors and Translators (MET) is a volunteer-run association for editors, translators and other language professionals who have English as a primary working language
It concentrates on English-language peer-led training and networking at workshops, online events and an annual conference. Members include both in-house and freelance language professionals, individuals and businesses; they work with institutions, governments, corporations and NGOs.
The Professional Editors' Guild (PEG)
The Professional Editors' Guild (PEG) is a non-profit company launched in Johannesburg in 1993. PEG represents language practitioners who operate in the South African publishing industry, in corporate communications and the media, and in the academic sector.
Continuing professional development remains a key offering, with members and partners across South Africa and internationally having access to an extensive programme of online webinars.
The Society of English-Language Professionals in the Netherlands (SENSE)
The Society of English-Language Professionals in the Netherlands (SENSE) exists to help language professionals meet the special challenges of working in English in a Dutch-speaking country.
SENSE offers a full calendar of workshops, webinars and social events for members and non-members alike. SENSE members – editors, translators, interpreters, copywriters, and language teachers and trainers – generally live in the Netherlands or have a professional connection to the country.

Kieliasiantuntijat Language Experts
Kieliasiantuntijat Language Experts is a Finnish trade union for people specializing in multilingual communications. It represents those whose profession is communicating in Finnish or Swedish, in a sign language or a foreign language.
