The European Association of Science Editors (EASE) is an internationally oriented community of individuals from diverse backgrounds, linguistic traditions and professional experience who share an interest in science communication and editing. EASE offers the opportunity to stay abreast of trends in the rapidly changing environment of scientific publishing, whether traditional or electronic.

FINNBRIT is an English-language training and examinations centre as well as a hub of cultural activity. Among the oldest language training institutes in the Helsinki region, FINNBRIT provides modern and innovative language solutions.

Kieliasiantuntijat ry, Language Experts in English, is a Finnish trade union for people specializing in multilingual communications. We represent those whose profession is communicating in Finnish or Swedish, in a sign language or a foreign language.

Mediterranean Editors and Translators (MET) is an association of language professionals who work mainly into or with English. Members include both in-house and freelance language professionals, individuals and businesses; they work with institutions, governments, corporations and NGOs.

The Professional Editors Guild (PEG) was launched in Johannesburg in 1993. PEG represents language practitioners who operate in the South African publishing industry, in corporate communications and the media, and in the academic sector. PEG was registered as a non-profit company (NPC) in February 2015.

Based in the Netherlands, SENSE is a society for English-language professionals. They currently have about 350 members, including editors, translators, interpreters, copywriters, and language teachers and trainers. SENSE members generally live in the Netherlands, or have a professional connection to the country.
